VeriVin offers a range of testing solutions to clients across the food and beverage industry.
All bottles that are scanned by our SWA001 machine receive their own unique VinPrint. This is a physical scan of the contents of a bottle at a given point in time that subsequently allows for the easy identification of each bottle in our database. This VinPrint can be readily used to track and authenticate individual bottles.
Our services are valuable for not only for high value products but also those of high volume in which large numbers of bottles require testing. Our technology can help determine if there are any inconsistencies in a batch, whether that be the result of different bottlings or the gradual development of faults in only one portion of a group.
Our technology can be used to help ensure the integrity of a given stock of products, allowing its user to measure and record the chemical fingerprints of various bottles at different points in time. This system makes note of any differences from previous fingerprints, successfully identifying any bottles that may have been tampered with or developed faults over time.
Fraudulent and adulterated products are increasingly rampant in the food and beverage industry, particularly in high value goods such as fine wine and rare spirits. Our services can help determine whether or not a bottle is in fact what it purports to be, all without having to break the seal. VeriVin thus provides greater confidence to those involved in high-value transactions.
Many fraudulent products are often adulterated with hazardous chemicals that pose a threat to human health, most prominently methanol in fake spirits. Our technology can detect even slightly elevated levels of methanol, helping to ensure greater safety for consumers.
